Randall Campbell

My name is Randall Campbell, and I have spent the last ten years working in the behavioral health field. I graduated from the University of Alabama with my degree in Social Work in 2017. I currently hold licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and hold certifications as an Alabama Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I), and an Alabama Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS). I have experience working with First Responders, adolescents, young adults, college students, athletes, and older adults. I specialize in substance abuse disorders, recovery/relapse prevention, anger management, anxiety, depression, and transitioning through the life cycle. I have worked with clients who have had various mental health issues and continue to grow as a therapist. I utilize a client centered approach to therapy where the client is a willing and active participant throughout the process. I incorporate techniques such as motivational interviewing and personal self-disclosure while utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I believe in providing a safe and open environment, keeping things simple, and exploring multiple solutions to achieve the best results.

My wife, Lauren, is an elementary teacher, and we have a 7-year-old miniature schnauzer named Ollie. We are avid sports fans and will escape to the lake any chance we get!
